Privacy Policy

PredChat is a WhatsApp assistant that helps you interact with Limitless Exchange (prediction markets on Base). This policy describes how we handle information when you use the bot.

What we collect

• WhatsApp phone number — to identify your account and send replies.
• Messages you send — to parse commands (e.g. balance, markets, trades) and respond.
• Wallet data (optional) — if you create or import a wallet, we store an encrypted blob (AES-256-GCM) derived from your phone number as additional authenticated data. The server encryption key comes from an operator-controlled secret (BOT_MASTER_KEY).
• Limitless API key (optional) — if you link a key, we store it encrypted for your account.
• Trading and fee records — e.g. order previews, bot fee balances and ledger entries, and cumulative trading volume we record for operations.
• Technical logs — errors and operational events may include your phone number or message metadata for debugging and abuse prevention.

How we use it

To operate the service: execute requested actions (quotes, orders where implemented), show balances, send alerts you trigger or that relate to funding, and maintain accounts and security.

Where it is stored

On servers controlled by the operator: either local/JSON file storage or a PostgreSQL database if configured. Data is not sold.

Third parties

• Meta (WhatsApp) — delivers messages; governed by Meta’s terms and policies.
• Limitless Exchange — market data, orders, and portfolio APIs when you use those features.
• Public blockchains (e.g. Base) — on-chain transactions are public by design.

Retention

We keep data while your account is in use and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, security, and operational needs unless you request deletion (see Data deletion).

Security

We use industry-standard encryption for sensitive secrets at rest. No method is 100% secure; you accept residual risk when using messaging and crypto products.

Your rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us at the email below.

Children

The service is not directed at children under the age required to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
